Mark Lage, from Des Moines, is Iowa’s premier professional music photographer. His skills
are unmatched when it comes to command of his camera while photographing artists during
their most emotional musical moments on stage.

Mark picked up a camera in the 1980s and started photographing musicians and bands for album covers, portraits, and live concerts from all over the country. He has photographed many musicians who have been inducted into the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll and Iowa Blues Halls of Fame.

Mark was inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame in 2025.
